Graduation season is one of my favorite times of the year. It’s such a big milestone, and I love helping my grads celebrate it in a way that actually feels like them.

One of the best things about doing graduation photos in Wilmington is that we don’t have to choose just one vibe. We can do classic campus photos and finish the session at the beach for something a little more relaxed and fun.

Campus photos are perfect for those timeless shots — walking around your university, sitting on steps, holding your cap, or recreating the iconic spots you spent years at. These photos feel polished, meaningful, and are great for instagram post, family and graduation cards!

Then we switch it up.

Beach graduation photos are where things loosen up a bit. Shoes off, ocean breeze, movement, laughter — it feels more like celebrating than posing. Whether it’s Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, or another nearby spot, beach photos add a fun, coastal touch that feels very “end of an era, start of a new one.”

If you’re worried about posing — don’t be. I guide you the entire time, tell you exactly what to do, and keep things natural so nothing feels awkward or forced. You don’t need modeling experience or a “fancy” outfit. Just show up, and I’ll take care of the rest.

Graduation photos don’t have to be stressful or overly formal. They should feel like you, reflect where you are in life right now, and be something you’re genuinely excited to look back on.
