Family sessions don’t have to be outside—especially when you have a newborn. During colder seasons, many parents don’t feel comfortable bringing a small baby outdoors, and that’s completely understandable. In-home family sessions are a great option because kids usually feel more relaxed in their own space, which often means better cooperation and more natural photos.
I often hear clients say, “I don’t have a fancy house, I don’t think my home is good for photos.” Don’t worry at all—you don’t need a fancy house. We can use just one room, good window light, or even a small corner of your home. Simple spaces can create beautiful, timeless images.
I guide you through posing during the entire session, so you never have to worry about what to do or how to stand. My goal is to make the experience easy, comfortable, and stress-free for your whole family.
I offer in-home family photography sessions in Raleigh, Wilmington, and beyond, and I’m always happy to help you decide what type of session works best for your family.
